Balderson Village & Heritage Perth Spring is a wonderful time of year. When the days warm up the sap starts to flow. The tradition of maple sugaring is a great way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors in the Maple Syrup Capital of Lanark County. Today we depart for Balderson Village for some leisure time to browse the shops before continuing on to Wheeler’s Maple Pancake House for a traditional Sugar Bush meal. Tour Wheelers Maple Heritage Museum and learn about the history of Maple Syrup making. Later this afternoon, our travels continue on to the village of Perth where you can stroll through the shops that line the main street of this historical town.

Market to spend some time browsing through the vendors treasures before
continuing on to historical Chateau Montebello to enjoy a wonderful buffet
lunch. We'll make a stop at Lac Leamy Casino in Hull to "Challenge Your Luck"
before returning to Ottawa. This tour is restricted to persons 18 years and

Today we depart for historical Chateau Montebello to enjoy a wonderful
buffet lunch. The afternoon finds us discovering, in the comfort of the
motorcoach, Omega Park - an immense 1500 acre park where many species of
wild animals live in their natural habitat. The coach will wind its way
through a varied landscape of lakes, meadows, small valleys, forests and
rocky hills. A stop in the park will allow a picture taking opportunity

Today we depart for Finnegan’s Flea Market to spend some time browsing through the vendor’s treasures before continuing on to the charming village of Hudson for a delicious lunch at the Willow Place Inn. We’ll make a stop in Vankleek Hill at Beaus All Natural Brewing Company before returning to Ottawa. Kingston

Today we depart for the Gateway to the 1000 Islands - Kingston. A
local guide will share in the history during a one hour sightseeing
tour. Enjoy leisure time along the waterfront for lunch and browsing
before we return to Ottawa.
Kingston Sunset Ceremony &
Historic Dinner This afternoon we’ll depart for Kingston, the gateway
to the 1000 Islands and home to Old Fort Henry National Historic Site.
We will partake in the Commandant’s Table enjoying a delicious historic
candlelight dinner served by soldier servants in the Officer’s Mess
followed by the pomp and pageantry (weather permitting) at the famous
Sunset Ceremony.
Kingston Military Tattoo This afternoon we’ll depart for Kingston,
the Gateway to the 1000 Islands and home to Old Fort Henry National
Historic Site. Upon arrival enjoy a delicious dinner in the Officer’s
Mess, served by soldier servants in period costume. Then, we’ll claim
our reserved bleecher seating for the Annual “Kingston Tattoo,” a
military music event with Brass and Pipe Bands and Highland Dancers
(weather permitting). Truly an evening of colour, pageantry and
spectacular entertainment.

Orchids & The Cove Country Inn
Stroll the boardwalk and experience the sights, sounds and beauty where 16,000 magnificent Showy Lady’s Slipper Orchids burst into delicate pink and white bloom at Purdon Conservation Area. Then, our journey continues to the village of Westport for a delicious lunch at the Cove Country Inn. Enjoy time for browsing and shopping in the village of Westport before returning to Ottawa. |
