Day 1: To St. Jacobs, ON
Late afternoon finds us in Mennonite Country and the historical town of St. Jacobs where our hosts at the Best Western Inn will welcome us with warm hospitality. Tonight join your Tour Director and traveling companions for a get acquainted Waterloo County country dinner to enjoy the local flavor and friendly folk. A fun evening sure to please! (D)
Day 2: Mennonite Country
This morning enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast at the hotel before we depart with a local guide on a countryside tour. Our “Mennonite Country” tour will include a stop at a Mennonite buggy factory, the “Kissing Bridge” in West Montrose (the only covered bridge remaining in Ontario), and a Mennonite farm. This afternoon, enjoy the Farmers Market, the Factory Outlet Mall, a local quilt shop and time to explore the village where over more than 90 retailers and artisan shops line the streets. Tonight we’ll dine at the Stone Crock Restaurant, the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious, home-cooked dinner, before attending the comedy performance of “Seperate Beds” at the St. Jacobs School House Theatre. This production will capture the indefatigable embodiment of the human spirit with warmth, wit, and wisdom that will tickle your ivories and leave you uplifted. A night out you truly deserve! (B,D)
Day 3: To Toronto/Ottawa, ON
This morning enjoy breakfast at the hotel before we board the coach and depart for Toronto’s Dine and Dream Theatre. Upon arrival, you’ll savour a sumptuous lunch before enjoying a sensational show performed, by the Famous People Players, which has dazzled and delighted audiences from all over the world. Next to the moon and the stars, the Famous People Players is the best thing to see in the dark and the only show of its kind anywhere in the world! What you see is sensational… what you don’t see is inspirational. Evening return to Ottawa with a stop for dinner enroute. (B,L)
