Day 1: To Sault Ste. Marie, ON
Today we depart traveling up the Ottawa Valley to Algoma Country, blazed in spectacular colour, arriving in Sault Ste. Marie where we’ll spend the next two nights at the Comfort Suites and Conference Centre.
Day 2: Agawa Canyon and Sault Ste. Marie, ON
All aboard the world famous Agawa Canyon Train! Sit back and experience a one-day Canadian Wilderness Rail Excursion with superb scenery and blazing fall foliage. The large picture windows will give you an exceptional view and experience of the vastness in this wilderness region. The train follows an incredible route through stretches of thick forest, colourful cliffs, waterfalls, over towering trestles and into fjord-like ravines to the awesome Agawa Canyon. This natural wilderness park is maintained by the railway, and cannot be reached by any other means. A two hour stopover will provide adequate time to enjoy the beauty that surrounds you. Enjoy breakfast and lunch aboard the train. Be sure to bring your camera for the breathtaking scenery. (B,L)
Day 3: To Sudbury, ON
Today we travel to Sudbury, the largest municipality in Northern Ontario. Here we’ll explore Science North, and view the newest of the Imax films and “Wings Over The North,” a 4D Bush Plane Adventure. Overnight at the Travelodge Sudbury.
Day 4: To Ottawa, ON
We will return to Ottawa traveling through Algonquin Park while reminiscing about this memorable fall colour journey and planning your next vacation with Ottawa Valley Tours.
