Unpack and relax, this will be your home for the next four nights. During the next few days you’ll experience some unique opportunities. (D)

Day 2: Provincetown, Cape Cod, MA
Whale Watch or Dune Ride
After breakfast, a local guide will lead us on a sightseeing tour of the area. We’ll travel historic Route 6A, the scenic road to the tip of the Cape, Provincetown, with stops at the historical Eastham Windmill and the Highland Lighthouse. Later this afternoon you will be given a choice of a three hour whale watching cruise, or a dune ride. The naturalist on board will explain the different types of marine life you will see including the “gentle giants” of the ocean. Bring your camera for some memorable picture taking opportunities! Or, experience a Dune Ride aboard an enclosed vehicle, and travel along the shoreline to see “dune shacks” where famous artists and writers have become inspired to create their art. Some leisure time will be available to browse in Provincetown on Commercial Street lined with shops and galleries. Tonight enjoy dining with the group at a local establishment. (B,D)

Day 3: Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard, MA
Today you’ll be given a choice of a day exploring Nantucket Island or the Island of Martha’s Vineyard. Both excursions will allow leisure time to stroll in the town and explore the island on a bus tour. Tonight enjoy an evening of dinner and entertainment in the area. (B,D)

Day 4: Chatham/Sandwich/Hyannisport, MA

You will view the Chatham Light, which has been a lifesaving beacon for people throughout the Cape’s history. Next we will visit the oldest town on the Cape – Sandwich. You will see the Village Green, the Great Salt Marsh, a Cranberry Bog and Cape Cod Bay. Enjoy a visit to the Heritage Museum and Gardens and see the antique collection in the Shaker Round Barn, a historic working Carousel, the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame, the beautiful gardens and other special exhibits. Before returning to the hotel we will visit the “hub” of the Cape – Hyannis making stops at the Kennedy Memorial and the Korean War Memorial, drive through the village of Hyannisport and view the St. Francis of Xavier Church.
