Witness beautiful cities, blue oceans, pristine lakes and towering mountains. Day 1: To Calgary, AB Arrive in Calgary and spend the rest of the day sightseeing in the “Stampede City” independently. Overnight in Calgary. Day 2: Calgary to Lake Louise, AB with Summit Helicopter Depart Calgary this morning for a full day tour. Journey to Kananaskis where you will enjoy the highlight of today, a 12 minute Summit Helicopter Tour (weather permitting) over the remarkable landscape of the Rockies. Enjoy lunch at a local ranch and spend time exploring Kananaskis at your leisure before continuing on to Banff for a sightseeing tour including Bow Falls, Lake Minnewanka, Surprise Corner and the Hoodoos. Overnight in Lake Louise at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. (L) Day 3: Lake Louise to Banff, AB A half-day tour takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its natural wonders. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to Banff. Overnight in Banff. For the more adventurous, a 25 minute Helicopter Flight above magnificent glaciers can be added to this day for an additional $249. per person instead of the Yoho tour. Must be booked at time of reservation. Day 4: Banff to Kamloops, B.C. Today your rail excursion departs from the mountain town of Banff to Kamloops in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey offers a spectacular range of scenery as you travel between the high peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior. Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass, Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, and of course the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in Kamloops. (B,L) Day 5: Kamloops to Vancouver, B.C. Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the interior, through winding river canyons and forests surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains to the lush green fields of the Fraser River Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your journey ends in Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver. (B,L) Day 6: Vancouver, BC to Victoria, BC Today a full day tour takes you to Victoria. Among the highlights are a BC Ferries trip through the picturesque Gulf Islands, and a visit to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Overnight in Victoria.   Day 7: Victoria, BC to Vancouver, BC Spend the morning exploring Victoria at your leisure. This afternoon indulge in a traditional afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress Hotel, featuring gourmet sandwiches, special tea blends and freshly baked scones.  After tea, a motorcoach and BC Ferry takes you back to Vancouver. Overnight Vancouver. Day 8: Vancouver, B.C./Ottawa, ON Your tour ends with check out from your Vancouver hotel. Board your return flight for Ottawa.
